About Us

Tucson Labs is a tiny web design company located in beautiful Tucson, Arizona. Being small allows us to work closely with our clients and produce better websites than large agencies that handle dozens of projects at once.

We make simple, easy-to-use websites that help people find what they’re looking for without having to struggle. We also make sure our sites are accessible so you reach the widest audience possible.

Our Process

1. Planning

During our initial consultation, we will develop an understanding of your goals, timeline, budget, and other relevant project information. We will begin researching your market and competitors and help you develop a content strategy for a sucessful website launch.

2. Design

When we've figured out how the content should be arranged, we begin applying our design skills. Once we get your okay for the design, we start building the actual website. If the design isn't what you're looking for, we make adjustments to it based on your comments before we start the development process.

3. Development

Once your site has a solid HTML/CSS foundation, we then start integrating our code into templates for WordPress. Using WordPress gives you the ability to add new content, edit existing content, and manage all other relevant aspects of your website.

4. Testing

By this point the site will be functioning and looking presentable, but will likely have some bugs that need to be worked out as well as some other fine tuning. During this phase of the project we will be providing documentation and support for using and maintaining the website.

5. Launch

When your website looks terrific and finally has all the content on the development server, we then transfer all of the necessary files to your server and make sure everything is working properly. Then it's your job to keep building great content by posting information that's interesting to your target audience.

5. Refinement

Wait, we're not done! There's generally a lot of fine tuining that can be done after the site goes to production. We help you make sense of all the information you'll get from sophisticated web analytic software and make any needed changes based on that infromation or further user testing.
