My Work - some of my previous web designs

Catalina-Group.com

catalina groupThis site was redesigned from the ground up. Services included logo design, site design, coding, and some content development. Catalina Properties wanted a website that was easy to navigate, distinct, and had the web 2.0 look to it. They also needed a logo, pictures, and a content manegment system; for which I chose Wordpress. The finished product not only met all of their needs, but was finished ahead of schedule.

Pets4you.com

Pets4You.comThis was my favorite site design during my short stay in the Old Pueblo. I implemented several new features, created about a dozen unique pages, and of course I completely redesigned the entire site. For this project I had to work closely with our design team in our California offices, implementing changes to just under a thousand pages. Please keep in mind if you visit the site that I don’t work there any more, and it’s undergone some changes since I left.

Achemconsulting.com

Achem Consulting GroupAnalytical Chemical Instrument Conslulting Group out of Tucson contacted us to build a design and build a its business website. We started with a few basic mockups for the layouts, and then designed the logo based on the customers ideas. From there we moved on to hand coding the site with valid XHTML and CSS. We also integrated Google Adsense and created a contact form for consulting inquiries. We ended up with good looking site that will be easy for users to navigate and get the information they need.

MuralsbyDonette.com

Murals by DonetteThis was a project I had while working for Original Services. I was lucky enough to get the chance to meet and work with one of Tucson’s best mural artists. The site ended up with a chocolate color theme that I really enjoy and complement’s the artist’s work.

RVTV.info

rvtv.infoThis was another project I had at Original Services. I was asked to keep the site extremely simple and friendly. The result was an aesthetically pleasing blue gradient with a cartoon-like logo and icons. The sites logo and icons were developed with the Inkscape 0.45.

NorthWestSurf.com

North West Surf ReportThis site was created to meet the needs for most northwest surfers. The group wanted links to the most useful weather forecasting tools, a discussion forum, a news page, and an RSS feed for updates and surf reports. I designed the logo, the mosaic image of the coastal region, and of course we hand coded the entire site. For the forum I chose to use phpBB2 because of it’s easy to use administration page.

Madronamassage.com

Madrona MassageMadrona Massage is a completely liquid layout. The container divs and their image stretch to fit any size of the screen. This is perfect for different viewing platforms (i.e., HDTV). This site even works in IE 6, but please view it in a modern browser (Firefox, Safari, or Opera). This way you can easily see how the boxes adjust with an increase in text size. A flexible scalable site is good for everyone because it can accommodate many different user preferences and people.

JoshuaWilliams.org

Joshua WilliamsMy old site that will hopefully become my blog someday. This site has a basic two column design with an easy-to-use navigation menu and a simple user interface. Like most of the sites that we create, it doesn’t depend on big background images, tables, or huge chunks of Javascript for its visual style. Sites like this are perfect for servers that don’t have a great deal of bandwidth or lack raw processing power and RAM to serve up pages.
