Tucson Web Design

The focus at Tucson Labs is web design and user interface development. Sites are created with standards based markup so that they load faster, are easier to update and maintain, and can scale when you need them to. Our website are made while always keeping end-users in mind, leading to simple, appealing, and easy to use websites.

Besides building nice-looking websites, icons and print media also get a fair amount of attention here. We create icons that make your applications standout and your web-applications or forms easier for the end-user to navigate. The print media we create can help you get noticed, from business cards, fliers, brochures, to posters and magazine advertisements.

Catalina Group

Website design for Catalina Group real estate company
Catalina Properties wanted a new logo, a website redesign, and a content management system. They got what they asked for; fresh branding, an easy use and navigate web site, and a solid CMS with Wordpress. Like all my sites, hand-coded XHTML and CSS are standard and this site was no exception. The finished product not only met all of their needs and was completed on schedule, but helped get their houses sold.
Pets4you.com
Web design for Pets4You.com
This was my favorite site design during my short stay in the Old Pueblo. I implemented several new features, created about a dozen unique pages, and of course I completely redesigned the entire site. For this project I had to work closely with our design team in our California offices, implementing changes to just under a thousand pages. Please keep in mind if you visit the site that I don’t work there any more, and it’s undergone some changes since I left.
Achemconsulting.com
Web design for Achemconsulting.com
Analytical Chemical Instrument Conslulting Group out of Tucson contacted us to design and build a website for their consulting company. We started with a few basic mock-ups for the layouts, and then designed the logo based on the customers ideas. From there we moved on to hand coding the site with valid XHTML and CSS. We also integrated Google Adsense and created a contact form for consulting inquiries. We ended up with good looking site that will be easy for users to navigate and get the information they need.
CalliePoole.com
Blog design for CalliePoole.com
I built this site for my awesome girlfriend, Callie Poole. I made a goal of designing most of the site using Inkscape and of course I chose Wordpress for the blogging platform. I took this site as an opportunity to discuss some of the features of Inkscape that make it a great to for creating websites, especially with the new batch export tool of version 0.46.
Murals by Donette
Web Design for MuralsbyDonette.com
This was a project I had while working for Original Services. I was lucky enough to get the chance to meet and work closely with one of Tucson’s best mural artists. The site ended up with a chocolate color theme that I really enjoy and complement’s the artist’s work nicely.
